The show is in limbo right now. I actually had a lot of fun writing short episodes for it, but I guess it needed less "The Wonder Years" and more "Farting".

You know... one of these days... I'm gonna work on something that actually gets distribution, heh.

Any one looking for a great watch on the secrets of "good story" should check this out. I agree 100% with this guy (cuz my approval means so much).
 

I'm lucky enough to get to spend most of my time these days writing... I'm going to start planning my TED talk now. It will be called "Making it in writing with a rudimentary knowledge of grammar".

Aaaaand the break is over!

I really felt like I got derailed this year from a bunch of projects I wanted to get working on. I redid this blog as an attempt to jump-start the year with a fresh new page, but instead, the first post just sort of ended up staring at me, mocking me, reminding me that I haven't done anything lately.

It's not that I haven't WANTED to. I have. This year has just been one crap event after another. But in reality, most of these problems are really just "First world problems" (a term I've been introduced to this year) and being unproductive and down about things doesn't change life for the better.

So feeling a bit on the upswing (though still fighting some sickness), the wedding projects in full swing, and my personal projects back on, I'll be trying to update a little more often over this year.

As I've killed almost everything from the last version of the House of Ten blog, and I'm not getting traffic from people looking for that weird little french snowman, my stats show a lot less visitors. GOOD! It's really weird getting 1000's of people hitting your site and you have no idea if anyone is actually reading it. From now on, all images will come from me, my projects, or youtube vids (since youtube embeds don't come up in google search).

Now, I guess I need to get back to Kneel Before Pod, and A Million Bad Drawings as well....

UPDATE! 7 Months! WTFOMG?!

Man. 7 months til the wedding and I have a shit ton to do.

DROP 30 POUNDS

Pffft. No problem. I have a game plan. Even though I'm currently injured and suffering from extreme laziness, I can pull this off. Not to sound like a girl, but I'm not getting married fat. Or I will, but I'll be very mad at myself, and wearing horizontal stripes.

DRAW

I have a LOT of sketching to do for wedding stuff. I've been gearing up since Christmas. You see, the problem is, I'm not a very good arteest. That's problematic when you have to churn out a lot of good drawings. We'll see how this pans out.

ORGANIZE APARTMENT

I refuse to have our place in any disorder by the time we're married. We shall start our new union in a fully organized place. Now if only things would stop going wrong while we work on it.

So all this being said, you now know why I'm neglecting this blog thing here. I do have stuff coming - Awesome stuff - but it'll have to wait.
